Blood Donation Camp

The Blood Donation Camp was jointly organized on 23rd February 2024 by the NSS Unit of FAMT and Narendra Maharaj Sansthan, Nanij aimed to collect voluntary blood donations to address the shortage of blood supply in local healthcare facilities. Additionally, the event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of regular blood donation among community members.

The organizing committee was formed, comprising members from both the NSS Unit of FAMT and Narendra Maharaj Sansthan. Promotional materials such as posters, flyers, and social media posts were created and distributed to raise awareness about the event. Volunteers were recruited and trained to assist with registration, donor screening, and other logistical tasks. Medical professionals were engaged to conduct donor screenings and oversee the blood donation process.

The event successfully raised awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation, reaching a wide audience within the community. Positive feedback was received from donors, volunteers, and faculty members indicating satisfaction with the organization and execution of the event. A total of 62 donors donated blood to this camp.

Prof. Umesh K Samant (Program Officer), Prof. Harsha N Kelkar (Program Officer), Prof. Sachin S Gurav (Institute Coordinator), Prof. Priyanka A. Date (Member), Saurabh S. Shahane (Member) coordinated the event under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad.
