Awareness Session on T&P Activities and Career Guidance
Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering organized an awareness Session on Training and Placement (T&P) Activities and Career Guidance on 29th August 2023 for second-year EXTC students.
Prof. Kishore Bhosale, Head of Training and Placement Cell, FAMT Ratnagiri conducted the session long with Prof. Pratik Kambale (Assistant TPO, FAMT), Prof. Raju Marag and Prof. Onkar Dike (Head IIC, FAMT).The objectives of this session were:
1. To create awareness about T&P activities
2. To create awareness about Career guidance for competitive exams and higher studies
3. To create awareness of the importance of Ethics, Communication and Teamwork in the corporate world
Prof. Kishore Bhosale (TPO) interacted with students on the following points:

The training programs and placement drives at FAMT

Finding job opportunities

Companies’ expectations from Engineering graduates

The skills and qualities for placements

Contribution and participation of students to enhance their industry preparedness
Prof. Pratik Kamble (Assistant TPO, FAMT) discussed company-specific training, the importance of proficiency in at least one foreign language, the process of campus drives, and preparation of higher studies.
Prof. Raju Marag and Prof. Omkar Dike interacted with students about alumni’s involvement in these activities, the importance of industry internships and industry visits. Prof. Raju Marag elaborated the importance of soft skill training, placement procedure and career opportunities after graduation.
The session was organized by the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Department (EXTC), and coordinated by Miss G. S. Bhosale under the guidance of Dr. S. V. Chougule, the Head.
49 Students of SE EXTC attended the session and discussed their doubts. Students have shared their feedback on this session.
