A Workshop on ‘Flutter Innovate: From Idea to App’

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) hosted an insightful workshop titled “Flutter Innovate: From Idea to App” on August 31st, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This event was specifically designed for SE and TE CSE (AI & ML) students, providing them with hands-on experience in mobile app development using Flutter. The workshop was conducted under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Aryak Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Ratnagiri. The session saw active participation of 81 students, eager to explore the intricacies of mobile app development and enhance their skills in creating and deploying apps using Flutter.

The primary objective of the workshop was to equip students with the skills needed to create and deploy mobile apps using Flutter, while also improving their programming proficiency through the learning of Dart, the language used in Flutter. Additionally, the workshop aimed to introduce best practices in mobile app development, ensuring that participants are well-prepared to tackle real-world challenges.

Expert resource persons from Aryak Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Atharva Devsthali and Mr. Yash Waghdare, guided the students through the process of transforming ideas into fully functional mobile applications. The workshop covered the essentials of Flutter, including its development environment, the Dart programming language, and best practices for app design and deployment. Participants gained valuable insights into the latest trends and techniques in mobile app development, enhancing their practical skills and preparing them for future challenges in the tech industry.

The coordinators of this workshop were Prof. Swapnali R. Teli, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) and Prof. Sprooha S. Athalye, Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML). This workshop was successfully conducted under the guidance of Prof. V. V. Nimbalkar, the Head, Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML). This workshop was an activity carried out under the MoU signed between the CSE (AI & ML) Department of FAMT and Aryak Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Ratnagiri.
