An Informative lecture on Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) & its’ Student Forum was organized by the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering on 28th January 2019.
Dr. S. V. Chougule, HOD, EXTC briefly explained the objectives of introducing IETE Student Forum in the department. Prof. S. S. Athalye delivered a lecture on Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) – a professional society, its student forum, the procedure for establishment and benefits of the forum to the students. Total 97 students of S.E and T.E. classes attended this program.
This program helped the students to get insight into IETE Student Forum and its activities, and served following objectives:
1) Motivate students to be part of the professional bodies like IETE.
2) Encourage students to enhance technical skills through activities.
