An industrial visit was organized to KRUGER VENTILATION INDUSTRIES (INDIA) PVT LTD, Kalamgaon, Shahapur, Thane on 10th February, 2018. 35 student members of ISHRAE Students Chapter from S.E. and T. E. Mechanical visited the industry. The purpose of this visit was to provide industrial exposure to participants in the field of ventilation.
In the morning session, Mr. Pankaj Bhoir (Sr. Application Engineer) introduced students about functioning of Industry. He also explained different applications of FAN, process of FAN selection according to CFM, selection criteria of the FAN as per static load, different shapes and types of blades used as per load requirement. In the evening session, students had hands-on experience of different centrifugal, axial, vane shaped FANs.
Mr. Guruprasad Tiwari (General Manager), Mr. Abhijit Kamat (Sales Manager), Mr. Pankaj Bhoir (Sr. Application Engineer) made lot of efforts for the visit.
The visit was successfully arranged by FAMT ISHRAE Faculty Advisor Prof. Hemant V.Chavan and Prof. Abhijit M. Date under the guidance of ISHRAE Thane Chapter Student Chair Mr. Sandeep Shinde and Ms. Nivedita Jadhav, Dr. Kaushal Prasad (Principal, FAMT), Dr. M. S. Kirkire (Head of Mechanical Engineering Department).
