Soft Skill Development Program for First-Year MCA students
The Industry Expert Session on Soft Skill Development, organized by the Department of MCA and Training and Placement Cell, spanned from November 23 to 26, 2022, and from November 28 to 30, 2022, for first-year MCA students.
Prof. Tejas V. Joshi, Head of MCA Department, introduced Mr. V. Kalyan Kumar, an accomplished entrepreneur and HR professional with over 20 years of experience as a certified trainer. Mr Kalyan Kumar’s expertise in life skills and language training likely contributed significantly to the student’s professional development during the sessions.
The training’s first session covered effective self-introduction, spoken English, PPT presentation skills, and body language, including discussions on frequently asked questions and their effective answers. The second session focused on interview etiquette, HR interview tips, and guidance on participating in group discussions, including Dos and Don’ts.
Prof. Supriya S. Surve coordinated the event. This comprehensive session is aimed at enhancing students’ soft skills and spoken English for their professional development.
