Teacher’s Day
Electrical Engineering department and EESA celebrated Teacher’s Day on 11th September, 2017 to express gratitude and appreciation to the teachers. Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th September in tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great academic philosopher, well-known diplomat, scholar, the president of India and above all a teacher.
The students played the role of teachers for a day by preparing timetable and delivering lectures from S.E. to B.E. A quiz competition for the teachers was arranged by the students. Prof. M N Tagare won this competition. In the felicitation programme, all the faculty were felicitated by the students . Prof. M. N. Tagare, HoD. S H Mhabdi and Prof. P. J. Kadam guided the students on this occasion. On behalf of all electrical students; special gifts, made by the students, were presented to all the teachers.
