A Road Safety Seminar was organized at FAMT in collaboration with RTO, Ratnagiri; on 25th January 2018. It was organized as a part of Road Safety Awareness Campaign, to make the young students aware about the care to be taken while riding and driving the vehicles.
Three officers on behalf of RTO Office, Ratnagiri namely Mr. Sharad Bhagwat, Mr. Chetan Utekar and Mr. Sanjay Jadhav were present for the seminar. Near about 90-100 students attended the programme. Mr. Chetan Utekar guided the students on the ways of avoiding the common mistakes made by youngsters while driving, the necessary documents to drive a vehicle and the care to be taken while driving on road.
Prof. D. D. Joshi felicitated the officials. Prof. D.M. Bapat anchored the programme and Prof. R. V. Kotawdekar helped in organizing the programme. The programme ended with vote of thanks.
