Industrial Visit to Kirloskar Chillers Private Limited, Pune
In view to bridge the gap between the curriculum and current industry practices in the field of HVAC (Heating, ventilating and Air conditioning) under the subject of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, an industrial visit was organized by the department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ISHRAE Thane Chapter to Kirloskar Chillers Private Limited, Saswad ,Pune for T.E. Mechanical Engineering Students on 18th December 2017.Total 19 students from T.E. ISHRAE students members participated.
The visit was based on understanding the latest technology in Chillers manufacturing having centrifugal and screw technologies which consist of design and fabrication of condenser, evaporator type of shell and tube heat exchanger.
The visit was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kaushal Prasad, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department Dr. M. S. Kirkire and ISHRAE Thane Chapter Student Chair Mr. Sandeep Shinde, Ms. Nivedita Jadhav and the office bearers. The visit was successfully organized by FAMT ISHRAE Student Chapter Faculty Advisor Prof. Hemant Vasant Chavan.
