Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, Ratnagiri organized three days “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp” from 9th to 11th February 2018. It was sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology under the DST-NIMAT project. Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India is an implementing agency under the aegis of National S&T Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
For this three days camp, 86 students were registered from the institute. To make this camp successful and versatile development of entrepreneurship skills among the students, we invited experienced trainers and speakers from different areas. The camp was inaugurated by Mr Milind Datar, Entrepreneur and Dr Milind Kirkire Dean Academic, FAMT, Ratnagiri.
On the first day, Mr Milind Datar, speak on why and how to start a business. He motivated the students to start small scale industry. Afternoon session started with Mr R B Kale Director, Sea Fabrics Pvt. Ltd share his entrepreneurial journey and experience with students. On second day, Mr. Santosh Sinkar from bank of India discussed the various loans schemes and facilities initiated by the Government of India and how to raise funds for start-ups in India.Subsequently, Mr. Prasad Jog, Management trainer motivated the students to become entrepreneur. He gave the brief idea about writing a preliminary project report.
