Nature Club, FAMT organized a documentary program on ‘Waste Management’ to create awareness on the garbage classification and reuse among the children on 10th February, 2018 at seminar hall of Z. P. School Mirjole no: 1, Ratnagiri. The introduction of school and welcome speech was given by Mrs. Kavita khedekar, Principal Z.P. School. Miss. Bhagyashri Pacherkar ,the member of Nature Club, introduced Nature Club and its activities to the students and teachers.
Mr. Amol Chavan , the core member of Nature Club made a presentation on Waste Management and also shared the mantras of 3Rs, it’s objective and it’s classification through a power point presentation and displyed some video clips and photographs based on the side effects of plastic. The students took part in the interaction and cleared their doubts and queries. A very good feedback from students was noticed as they promised to donate their old toys and clothes to the needy as a part of reusing.
Prof. U. K. Samant helped the club members in completing another social and environment programme.
