FAMT observes 127th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar

FAMT observed 127th birth anniversary of Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian constitution, on April 20. Prof. D.S. Nangare (Asst. Prof., Dept. of Science and Humanities) delivered a talk on the thoughts of Dr. Ambedkar on this occasion. Dr. Kaushal Prasad (Principal) presided over the programme.

Prof. Nangare enlightened the audience about the relevance of Dr. Ambedkar’s thoughts in present day and especially in students’ lives. He discussed Dr. Ambedkar’s contribution to the Constitution of India, social reforms, women empowerment and educational reforms. He said, “It is Dr. Ambedkar who educated Indians about the great principles like liberty, equality and fraternity, because of which we are able to see the present picture of national and social development.” Dr. Kaushal Prasad said that we need to imbibe the virtues of Dr. Ambedkar in ourselves.

The students and faculty members attended the programme. Prof. L.D. Naiknaware anchored the programme. Prof. D.D. Joshi and members of the Cultural Committee contributed to the success of the function.
