A Guest lecture on Preparation for GATE Examination
The department of Electrical Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on Preparation for GATE Examination on Wednesday, 5 July, 2017 to sensitize the students at early stage so that they start their preparation right from second year. Shri. Vishwajit Kadam, Asst. Engineer, MSEDCL, Mumbai was the chief speaker. Through his talk, he explained the importance of GATE exam, method for preparation, important topics on which more questions are asked and books required for preparation. Qualifying GATE examination with excellent score not only offers chance to get admission to M.Tech in premier institutes like IITs and NITs but also offers job openings in public sector companies. 110 students from SE, TE and BE attended the lecture which was arranged by Prof. M. N. Tagare and Prof. Jayant J. Mane.
