Elocution Competition on Women’s Day

8th March is celebrated as “International Women’s Day”.  As a part of celebration of International Women’s Day, the department of Electronics and Telecommunication organized Elocution Competition for all students. The topics for Elocution were carefully chosen to reflect, to appreciate how much has been done and what more needs to be done in the field of gender equality and sensitivity. 15 boys and girls students participated in the competition.

Prof. P. K.vKotwal welcomed all the dignitaries and participants with a poem which speaks about social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. HoD Electronics and Telecommunication, Dr. S. V. Chougule explained history of Women’s Day Celebration and also advised to scale new heights in all aspects of life. H.O.D. Electronics, Prof. G. G. Bhide conveyed his best wishes on this occasion and explored the importance of women at home and society. It’s a day to acknowledge all the men and women in the world for making this world a better place for everyone to live in.
